Reflect. Renewal. Community Building.

Lewis University Ministry offers a variety of spiritual, religious and community-building programs to assist the members of our community to grow into the persons God calls us to be.

The Lenten Retreat
The Lenten Retreat

During the Season of Lent, we are offering an opportunity to spend 30-60 minutes a week with a spiritual companion (faculty/staff/religious).  This invitation is part of a larger effort this year to invite students/faculty/staff to enter into a one on one relationship with a spiritual companion.  Where the focus is on walking with one another on the journey of faith/spirituality/life.  Creates space for questioning, struggling, wrestling with simple everyday life to the deepest questions of life.  As well as a space to help one another recognize how God has been working in their life even amidst the craziness of it all. In essence - a sharing of life with the growth and development of one’s own personal relationship with God and/or purpose/vocation in life at the core of it all.   The idea is simple - building meaningful relationships!

That said, for the next several weeks starting the week of Feb 21 and ending during Holy Week - (week leading up to Easter - March 28 - April 4) , you will have the opportunity to meet with a "fellow walker on the journey" to do any of the things listed above. AND, given that it is Lent, there is a reflection booklet with some scripture verses, reflection questions, and prayers for you and your companion to discuss if desired.

If you have any questions, you are more than welcome to reach out to any of the staff members here in ministry:
