Overview

For counseling and mental health support, the Counseling Services team is here for you. We meet with you primarily through telehealth, using web platforms such as Microsoft Teams and Webex, or by phone. The Counseling team has successfully provided telehealth services since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Mental Health Screening Programs
The American College Health Association (ACHA) recommends that mental health services continue to be offered via telehealth as much as possible to reduce crowding on campus, limit exposure to COVID-19 and promote health and safety overall for the university community.

The Center for Health & Counseling Services will be staffed with a minimum of one counselor during business hours (M-F, 8:30 am-4:30 pm). Other members of counseling team will be provide services while working remotely.

You will be directed to complete an Urgent Care form online, which a counselor will immediately review and make a follow-up plan to meet virtually or in-person if needed. If not deemed an emergency, an appointment will be made for an agreed upon time (depending on urgency of concerns).
