Princeton Review’s Green Colleges 2025 Edition Includes Lewis University

Published: October 26, 2024.

Lewis University has been named one of the most environmentally responsible and sustainability-committed colleges in the nation by the Princeton Review.

Known for its education services and resources for college-bound students, the tutoring, test prep, and college admissions services company has featured Lewis University in The Princeton Review Guide to Green Colleges: 2025 Edition.

The Princeton Review selected the schools based on a survey conducted on administrators at nearly 600 colleges in 2023-2024 about their institution’s environmental and sustainability commitment. More than 25 survey data points were analyzed for the selection of the schools.

“We are delighted to recommend Lewis University to students who want their ‘best-fit’ college to also be a ‘green’ one,” said Rob Franek, The Princeton Review’s Editor-in-Chief. “Lewis University, which offers excellent academics, also demonstrates a strong commitment to sustainability in its campus programs, policies and practices.”

The school profiles provide notes on their use of renewable energy, recycling and conservation programs and the availability of environmental studies in academic offerings. The profiles also include information on the school’s admission requirements, cost, and financial aid.

Lewis University has a variety of green initiatives in place.
