Lewis University Shines at 245th Electrochemical Society Meeting

Lewis University was well-represented, with presentations and discussions on a range of cutting-edge topics at the 245th Electrochemical Society (ECS) Meeting May 26-30 in San Francisco. The international conference brought together leading researchers and industry professionals from across the globe to share advancements in electrochemistry and solid-state science.
Dr. Jason J. Keleher, professor and chair of chemistry at Lewis University, mentored and co-authored the following projects that were presented and co-authored by students.
Keleher also served on the Roundtable Discussion on CMP Workforce Development, along with Gautam Banerjee of IBM and Yaw Obeng of the National Institute of Standards and Technology.
“CMP - Past, Present and Future in Honor of S. V. Babu” discussion was led by Keleher, Banerjee, Jihoon Seo of Clarkson University and Aniruddh Khanna of Applied Materials.
Electrochemical Cell Design and Operation for Copper Recovery from Chemical Mechanical Polishing Slurries was a collaboration among researchers at PowerTech Water, Inc (James Landon, Alan Rassoolkhani, Collin Dunn, Jeffrey Rentschler and Cameron Lippert) and Lewis University (Caridi and Keleher)
