Lewis Men's Cross Country Finishes 21st at NCAA DII National Championships

The Lewis University men's cross country team finished 21st at the NCAA DII National Championships Saturday (Nov. 18). The Flyers finished with 549points. This concludes the Flyers 2023-2024 season.

Leading the way for Lewis was juniorCharlie Wirth(Greenville, Wis./Hortonville)who finished the 10K race with a time of 30:42.9. FreshmanEvan Horgan(Loves Park, Ill./Belvidere North)was the next Flyer to cross the finish line after recording a time of 31:24.4.

SeniorSean Ryan(Independence, KY/Saint Henry)was not far behind Horganas he finished with a time of 31:35.3. SeniorEvan Jamrozy(Worth, IL)crossed the finish line next for Lewis after recording a time of 31:40.6.

SeniorCasey Quintana(Mishawaka, Ind./Mishawaka)was right behind Jamrozyafter finishing the race with a time of 31:47.3. Next up for Lewis was seniorDaniel Arimi(Ashland, Ohio/Ashland)who had a time of 31:59.5.

Payton Goudreau(Fox Point, WI/Nicolet)finished next for the Flyers after the senior crossed the finish line with a time of 32:19.6.
