Biccochi, Dench Repeat as All-GLVC Honorable Mention Selections
Published: April 1, 2021.The Great Lakes Valley Conference announced Thursday (April 1) that Lewis University bowlers Erin Biccochi (Ladd, Ill./Hall) and Kayla Dench (Plainfield, Ill./Plainfield East) were named All-GLVC honorable mention selections. Both are second time recipients after earning honorable mention last year.
Biccochi was able to improve her stats across the board from last year, finishing NCAA play with an 18.72 pins per frame average to go along with an 83.1 fill percentage, a 40.2 strike percentage, an 85.6 single pin spare percentage and a 77.7 multi-pin make-able spare percentage.
Dench averaged 18.5 pins per frame with a 79.8 fill percentage, a 39.5 strike percentage, 81.8 single pin percentage and a 64.4 multi-pin make-able percentage.
Jenna Sussenbach (Naperville, Ill./Plainfield North) was recognized as the Flyer nominee for the James R. Spalding Sportsmanship Award.
Lewis finished NCAA play with a 22-26 record.
