Donate Today to COVID-19 Emergency Fund for Lewis University Students

Published: April 6, 2020.

To address the needs of our students during this pandemic, a COVID-19 Emergency Fund has been established to support the unexpected costs due to the extraordinary circumstances of the coronavirus outbreak.

While some people are not in a position to give, many have been asking how they can help.  Lewis University Board of Trustees Chair Kathy Halloran ‘74, has offered to match all gifts to the Lewis University COVID-19 Emergency Fund up to $25,000.

Visit https://www.alumni.lewisu.edu/FlyersGive to learn more about the COVID-19 Emergency Fund and how to make a gift.

This fund will be utilized to support items such as accessibility to technology and equipment for online instruction, purchase food for the on-campus food pantry, and tuition assistance,” Luigi B. Amendola ‘01, vice president for University Advancement, said.

For questions regarding fundraising efforts for this campaign contact Colleen Ahearn, executive director of alumni engagement at cahearn@lewisu.edu or 815-836-5475.

Students who are facing this financial loss and are in need of additional assistance are encouraged to apply to receive these funds by completing the form at https://www.lewisu.edu/covid-19/emergency-relief-grant-fund.htm.
