Kane Finishes 16th at East Regionals

Lewis University's Kasey Kane (Texarkana, Tex./Texas) finished 16th at the NCAA East Regional with a three-round score of 232 (+16) on Wednesday at The Pearl Club in Owensboro, Ky.

Kane shot an 81 in her final round but was top finisher among the six individuals that were invited to the regional. She was +3 through nine holes but struggled on the back nine shooting a 42 and had double bogeys on the 14th and 18th holes.

Findlay won the team championship with a score of 895 while defending national champion Indianapolis was second with a team score of 903. Grand Valley and Missouri-St. Louis finished third and fourth with scores of 933 and 935 respectively. UIndy's Pilar Echeverria won individual medalist honors with a three-round score of 219.
