Lewis' Pulliam, Macleod and Partee Named USTFCCCA All-Americans

Published: March 13, 2019.

The U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association announced on Monday (March 11) the All-Americans for the indoor track and field season with Cierra Pulliam (Plainfield, Ill./Romeoville), Ashleigh Macleod (Mishawaka, IN/Penn) and John Partee (Plainfield, Ill./Plainfield South) making the list.

Pulliam was named First Team All-American after finishing second in the triple jump and fourth in the long jump at the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships over the weekend.

Macleod picked up Second Team All-American honors after finishing 12th in the 800 meter run on Friday afternoon.

Partee was also named Second Team All-American after finishing 10th in the 800 meter run on Friday afternoon.

"The National Championships is a great way for our top athletes to cap off their seasons," Lewis head men's and women's track and field coach Dana Schwarting said. "To continually have All-Americans each year is a tribute to the work these athletes put in, and the example they set for their teammates.

Student-athletes earned First-Team All-America honors by virtue of finishing among the top-8 in their events, including as a member of a relay, at this past weekend's championship meet in Pittsburg, Kan. Second Team All-America honors are for those who finished ninth through 16th in their individual events, or on a relay team that finished ninth or 10th.
