Future of Nursing Leads Discussion at Sept. 19 ANA-Illinois Policy Conference

Find out about current regulatory and policy efforts of the American Nurses Association Illinois and how it will impact the future of nursing during the ANA-Illinois Policy Conference at Lewis University in Romeoville.

The conference will be held from 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. Sept. 19 at the St. Charles Borromeo Convocation Center, located at 101 Airport Road in Romeoville. Continuing Education credits are available.

The ANA-Illinois Policy Conference topics include: Civics 101, Advocacy Overview, Nurse Practice Act Updates Next Steps and other timely topics. Susan Y. Swart, Ed.D., RN, CAE, executive director of ANA-Illinois will be the conference keynote speaker.

Registration fees are $15 for ANA-Illinois or Organizational Affiliate Members, $25 for ANA-Illinois Potential Members and $10 for Pre-licensure students. Registration is free for Lewis University faculty and students. Contact Nanci Reiland DNP RN PHNA-BC at reilanna@lewisu.edu for the code.
