Lewisí Kenzinger Named to Menís Junior National Training Team

USA Volleyball announced on Monday (May 7) that Lewis University freshman middle blocker Joe Kenzinger (Chicago, Ill./Brother Rice) has been selected to the 2018 Men's Junior National Training Team (MJNTT) that includes 20 of the top men's volleyball players in the United States under the age of 21.

He will be competing to make the final team of 12 that will compete at the NORCECA U21 Continental Championship on July 8-16 in Nicaragua. The team will be coached by Jonah Carson who has spent the last two seasons as an assistant with the MJNT.

"I'm excited for the team and for Joe," Lewis head men's volleyball coach Dan Friend said. "It's an honor to represent our country. He's been working hard and I'm excited to see the impact he'll make."

Lewis finished the 2018 season with a record of 19-11.
