Heritage Theatre Company’s 13th Annual Holiday Spectacular is December 7-9 at Lewis University

Heritage Theatre Company (HTC) will celebrate the season with the 13th Annual Holiday Spectacular. Performances will be at 7:30 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, December 7, 8 and 9. There is also a 4 p.m. matinee on Saturday, December 9.

Fun for the whole family, the show will deck the halls with 90 minutes of joyful music, skits, and merriment. The Holiday Spectacular is filled with singing, dancing, and heartwarming moments.

Tickets are $10 for the general public, $5 for Lewis faculty and staff and $2 for Lewis students. Half price tickets are available with a donation of non-perishable food items to go to local shelters.

The box office opens 90 minutes before show time with holiday confections in the lobby. Digital photos for $5 on stage with Santa and his holiday helpers will be available 30 minutes prior to show time. Proceeds from the concessions and photos with Santa go to the Theatre Scholarship Fund.

HTC has been sharing the festive fever with the gift of live theatre for 13 years. The show will get patrons of all ages in the holiday spirit as we throw back to past Christmas show favorites. The cast will sing, dance and warm your soul as they put a holiday twist on Billboard chart toppers both old and new. This year’s show features a cast of 19 Lewis students and alumni.

The cast features: Ashley Bihun of Oak Brook, Bradford Bingham, Taylore Cephas ’17 and Jamie Voustros all of Chicago; Victoria Brier of Lemont, Kevin Bukauski ’17, Kate O’Neil ’15 and Eric Redmon all of Yorkville; Christina Carlson, Matt Carlson ‘15 both of Lockport; Olivia Ferrari of Peru, Jen Glynn of Mt Greenwood, Kristen Leano of Plainfield, Haley Marchewka of Rockford, Julia Olexa of Palos Park, Katy Papineau ’16 of Kankakee, Chris Pupik of Naperville, Jordin Richards ’16 of Tinley Park and Ted Veremis-Dernekzis of Elk Grove Village.

The show is conceived and directed by Lewis University’s Philip Lynch Theatre Manager Jo Slowik ‘88 of Joliet. Stage-managing the production is Kayla Marie Carson of Oak Law. Mike Frale ’17 of Elk Grove Village is the vocal director and publicity coordinator. Jordin Richards ’16 along with Christy Carlson and Bradford Bingham are the choreographers. Celeste Mackey of Joliet is the costume designer and Rob Kornaus ’16 of Plainfield is the assistant stage manager. Hannah Krause of Mazon is the properties manager and Olivia Larson of Momence and Justin Williams of Coal City are the properties assistants. Zackary Abu-Shanab of Plainfield is the lighting and special effects designer and Zue Balquin of New Lenox is the light board operator. Andrew Nelsen ‘04 of Joliet is the technical director, the sound designer is Kevin Bukauski ‘17 of Yorkville and Natalia Bednarczyk of Burbank is the sound board operator. The follow spot operators are Mike Nutter of LaGrange, and Ashley Stajura of Lockport. Don’t be a grinch; join HTC as it rings in the holiday season with the 13th Annual Holiday Spectacular.

Advanced reserved seating reservations are strongly recommended.
