Michael Cutright.

Michael Cutright of Channahon was recently recognized with the Outstanding Student Award for Accelerated Business Programs. He recently earned a Bachelor of Arts in Management with an Organizational Leadership concentration from Lewis University in Romeoville.

“Professors who taught Michael acknowledged that he was a motivated, humble, intelligent, lifelong learner. They were impressed by his thoughtful consideration of subjects and he was always prepared with applicable current events and insights from his experience. He balanced work, life, and learning with care. In addition, most of his professors noted that he tended to work ahead and plan effectively so when work emergencies interfered, he didn't let his education suffer,” commented Dr. Mike Cherry, academic coordinator of adult business programs.

Lewis University offers business degree programs specifically for the adult learner. Business Administration, Information Technology Management and Management are among the programs offered for the adult learner in convenient locations. Most courses are offered in the evening since more than 90 percent of students in the program are employed.
