Trimble-Alliaume’s essay published in Sex, Gender and Christianity

The essay entitled, “(Theology of the Body) Language: Christopher West as Harlequin 2.0,” by Dr. Karen Trimble-Alliaume, associate professor of theology and co-director of the Women’s Studies program at Lewis University, was published in Sex, Gender and Christianity. The publication is a multidisciplinary anthology edited by Priscilla Pope-Levison and John R. Levison.

Sex, Gender and Christianity provides faculty, staff, students, and administrators an unprecedented opportunity to discuss sex, gender, and Christianity in a shared space—a safe space that allows for honest and transforming conversation.

This volume of Sex, Gender and Christianity resulted from the Lilly Fellowship Program Summer Seminar on Gender and Christianity. The 2010 seminar at Seattle Pacific University was co-led by Priscilla Pope-Levison and John R. Levison. Trimble-Alliaume was one of 12 selected participants in the seminar as well as one of the contributors to the volume.
