Studies show that the majority of employees would like more feedback. Given this, why don't we give it more often? To truly understand how to champion feedback as a leader, we must explore the topic from two angles – first, as a receiver of feedback and second, as the feedback provider.

Throughout this workshop, we'll address the greatest challenges related to feedback and provide you with the tools needed to more effectively influence those around you.

In this workshop, we will help you to identify your natural coaching style and give you the tools to adapt your approach to overcome challenges and better meet the needs of the person you are coaching.

Communicating effectively and managing conflict in the workplace can mean the difference between creating a high performance, energizing environment and an ineffective, highly frustrating environment. Effective communication and conflict management begins with an understanding of our own ‘styles' and an appreciation of the differences in approach that we see in our teams.

Specifically, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the Communication Model
  • Recognize and respond to opportunities improve communication outcomes
  • Differentiate between various communication media

The purpose of this interactive session will be to provide useful concepts and practical tools for increasing team effectiveness. Specifically, participants learn about:

  • Team basics
  • The characteristics of effective teams
  • Models for team development

Explore the theories, practices and issues involved in managing conflict in interpersonal and intergroup settings. This course will also include an assessment tool for students to gain a greater understanding of their usual conflict management strategy along with its strengths and weaknesses.
