Teach in Ultra training is a self-paced training designed to support faculty in recreating an original course in the Ultra course environment and to build a foundation of knowledge on which to teach using the Learn Ultra experience. In this course, you will be able to work through the materials at your own pace but in a sequential manner with comprehension checks along the way. While working through each module in this course, you will be able to build and recreate your content in your Ultra Development shell or evaluate and personalize Ultra content provided to you by your department.

The Advanced Topics in Blackboard Ultra workshop has been designed to provide training for specific aspects related to Blackboard Ultra. The training is not intended to substitute for Blackboard Orientation or Online Teaching Certification, but instead intended to serve as a more focused exploration of specific tools and features that instructors may choose to implement in their courses. Participants are encouraged to explore tools to determine if they are useful to your courses. All learning materials in this course workshop will remain open and available to you. Use them as a resource as you develop and enhance your courses.

Leveraging Panopto is a self-paced training workshop where participants can explore the Panopto tool from beginning to end. This will include experiencing the tools as both a student and an instructor. By interacting with the training materials and completing the assignments provided you will develop the skills needed to be successful with Panopto.

The Lewis University Online Teaching Certification training is designed to prepare faculty to teach online and blended courses using the Blackboard Learn Ultra experience. In this course participants will explore best practices and theory in online course design and develop a plan for online teaching. An emphasis will be placed on Student engagement, instructor to student engagement, and instructional design for online teaching. Upon successfully completing this certification, you will have the option to claim a micro-credential, University issued electronic Badge.
