Lewis is committed to supporting our students as they transition to online classes and online learning. Staff have been working hard to quickly transition many of our services to non-face-to-face formats. Below you will find an overview of current services available. Please continue to check for additional services and updates.

Blackboard Live Q&A Support Sessions
Students who need assistance transitioning to online learning via Blackboard can attend virtual Q&A sessions with Dr. Melissa Eichelberger during one of the dates/times below. More details can be found on our website at, including more online resources for Blackboard support.

Online Tutoring
Limited peer-to-peer tutoring online is available. Students also have access to Brainfuse, a service of real tutors in a wide range of subjects including Business, Computers and Technology, English, Math, Nursing and Science. More details can be found at

Online Academic Coaching
If any student would like to have an online academic coaching session with a Student Success Coordinator, they can email Advisors are available to meet by phone, email or video conference. Ongoing sessions or single sessions with students are available based on what they need/want.

Online Academic Advising & Registration Support
Registration for Fall 2020 begins Monday, March 30. Students will still need to “meet” with their advisor via email, phone or online chat/video. Students should communicate with their advisor to determine the best option. Students with a declared major are advised by a faculty member in the major department. Students who are still exploring majors and are undecided are advised by a Student Success Coordinator from Academic Services. Visit for additional information.

Accommodated Testing Center
The Accommodated Testing Center will have temporary hours of operation while courses are online. The adjusted hours are as follows:

Tuesday and Thursday: 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., by appointment only. (Other dates and times can be arranged with advance notice)

  • – Resource for current students with accommodations in place, along with their faculty. Also, a good resource for any student with disabilities looking for information about accommodations. Commonly used for students who utilize the Accommodated Testing Center as a part of their accommodations.
