      • In the event that severe weather or other emergency circumstances cause a change in the Commencement schedule, including cancellation of Commencement, Lewis University will activate the emergency notification system. E-mails, phone and text messages will be distributed to all students, faculty and staff.

      Any updates will also be posted on the www.lewisu.edu website.

    Guest Information for the Commencement Ceremonies

    We are excited to welcome the guest of graduates to campus! Below is some information that may be helpful as part of the celebration.

    • All guest, including infants and children will need a ticket.
    • Tickets can be printed or presented on a phone.
    • Doors will open 1 hour prior to the Degree Ceremony start time.
    • Direction to the main (Romeoville) campus – Directions to Main Campus
    • Parking Directions for Day of Degree Ceremony - Commencement Parking Information
    • Accessible parking is available in Lot GG. Please let security know when entering campus and they can assist with directions.
    • All Degree Ceremonies will be held in the Student Recreation and Fitness Center Fieldhouse.
    • Light refreshments will be available for purchase.
    • Balloons are not permitted in the fieldhouse.
    • The Degree Ceremonies will be live streamed. The live stream is available on https://www.lewisu.edu/commencement/index.htm.
