Transcript Equivalency Evaluation
Undergraduate transfer applicants and Graduate applicants, whose education was from outside of the United States, must submit a Transcript Equivalency evaluation.
A transcript equivalency is a service provided by a credential evaluation company. The company will change your university transcript into the equivalent of an American university transcript. This means, the company will analyze your previous education, school, courses, and grades and then create an evaluation. This evaluation is required to transfer any undergraduate and graduate level courses into Lewis University.
You can choose any evaluator that is a member of NACES or AICE. Alternatively, we have partnered with One Earth Evaluations to provide students with a faster and cheaper option. You can choose any company, but you must request a “Course by Course” evaluation service.
Lewis University will not require your Official Transcripts. Instead, you are required to submit an official transcript equivalency evaluation, sent to Lewis directly from the company.
*Transcripts from USA based school do not need an evaluation.
