PRE-ENGINEERING
This program is housed in the Department of Physics. A student may apply to a College of Engineering after completing two years in a pre-engineering program. Pre-engineering students are encouraged to choose a College of Engineering as soon as possible so that the pre-engineering program at Lewis can be planned effectively. Colleges of engineering expect a student to maintain at least a 3.00 GPA during their pre-engineering program. Most colleges of engineering recommend the following sequence of courses:
I. First Semester (16)
03-110 General Chemistry I (4)
03-111 General Chemistry I Lab (1)
13-200 Calculus I (4)
17-210 General Physics I (3)
