Enjoy the thrill of learning about aviation while collaborating with your team! Join Lewis University's nationally ranked Flight Team. We take on more than 80 other schools across the country, competing in events such as preflight, simulator, area navigation and more. We've ranked as high as 5th in the nation.

Alpha Eta Rho

"Collegiate Aviation Leaders of Today... Aviation Industry Leaders of Tomorrow." The Lewis chapter of this International Aviation Fraternity serves to promote contact between aviation students and aviation professionals in order to improve aviation education and research in the field.

American Association of Airport Executives

The Lewis University Student Chapter of the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) is the largest in the country. Members participate in activities such as FAA presentations and seminars, and tours of airports and air traffic control facilities.


Lewis Aviators are a group of students who help make prospective and new students feel welcome during special events and activities throughout the school year. Level of involvement may be determined by student availability.

Lewis Women in Aviation Women in Aviation

Lewis Women in Aviation helps aviation students expand their career opportunities by learning from local aviation professionals. Members attend workshops and conferences, providing great networking opportunities across the country.

The Lewis University ALPA ACE Club is a student – led organization, whose goal is to prepare aspiring aviators for the piloting profession. The Air Line Pilots Association (ALPA) in conjuncture with their Aviation Collegiate Education (ACE) program sponsors the organization. Through networking opportunities, presentations, seminars, panel discussions, and field trips, members will foster a culture of safety and professionalism that will be the foundation for a successful career in the aviation industry.
