Computer Requirements

Listed below are the minimum requirement specifications for computers that will be allowed to connect to the Lewis University network beginning Fall 2006.

  • Wireless Network Card to access the Lewis University wireless network.

We RECOMMEND purchasing a PC with the following specifications:

• Minimum of 1.5 GHz Dual-Core Recommended
• RAM:  Minimum of 1 GB
• Hard Drive:  Minimum of 40 GB

Student computers that are not being used on the Lewis University network will not be required to meet these specifications (i.e., off-campus computers of commuter students, on-campus standalone computers without Internet access, computers that are accessing only the wireless hot spots with a wireless network card 802.11a/b/g).
