75th Anniversary

Brother David Delahanty, FSC, president of Lewis University from 1982 until his death in 1987, presented an honorary doctoral degree to U.S. President Ronald Reagan on October 6, 1984. Reagan, President from 1980 to 1988, had been in the area for a speaking engagement and met with Lewis administrators and members of the Board of Trustees at the neighboring Wilco Center.
