75th Anniversary

During the early 1960’s Lewis College had its own bowling alley located in what is now the Flyer’s Den of the Lewis Memorial Student Union Center. The pins of each of the four lanes had to be reset by hand. In the 1970’s the alleys were removed, but the finely waxed boards were salved and frugal staff members constructed work tables out of these boards for student use in the aviation building. These tables are still in use today.
