  1. Knowledge - What do you actually know about differences and where did you learn your infomation.

  2. Understanding- Are you willing to consider how someone different than you might be feeling.

  3. Acceptance - How patient and respectful are you of others?

  4. Behavior- How do you behave towards others?
Diversity Dialogue Series - Monthly facilitated program to provide an educational opportunity to the campus community on issues related to diversity and multiculturalism on a predominately white campus. The program will help to create critical dialogue among the campus community on various issues (race, ethnicity, gender, sexual identity, class, disability, age and religion).

Multicultural Achievement Success Program - A program designed to provide on-going mentoring and academic support services to students who do not meet the minimum university academic requirement. In cooperation with Pat Jones, Success Coordinator.

Building Bridges Workshops – A variety of programs, designed for our students, staff, and faculty such as:  "Diversity 101" - exploring and/or expanding participants knowledge of the concept of diversity.  "Cultural Competency" - having the ability to recognize and respond to our similarities and differences and make better decisions based on that understanding.
