Thrift Stores (Used furniture, clothing, appliances, etc.)

Thrift shops offer second-hand (i.e. used) items for a much lower cost than their initial purchase cost.  Because it is expensive to set up an entire household by buying everything new, and because you may want some items only for the time you live here to complete your studies, you may find thrift shops very valuable indeed!  Do you need a blanket or an extra set of sheets?  a few extra dishes or glasses?  Some extra layers of clothing in the winter?  Thrift shops may be your answer.  Additionally, thrift shops frequently use their proceeds for charitable causes.  Here are some local thrift shop addresses:
