  • Why did you want to become an R.A.?
A: I wanted to join the team that helped to make freshman year an amazing one.

  • If you could be a cartoon character who would it be?
A: I'd definitely be Jerry Mouse from "Tom and Jerry". He (almost) always comes out on top by coming up with plans to outwit Tom.

  • Why did you want to become an R.A.?
A: I chose to be an RA to give back to my campus community. In order to accomplish my goal of giving back, I plan to be a resource to my fellow students and help them with anything they need.

  • If you could be a cartoon character who would it be?
A: I would be Eddy from the early 2000’s Cartoon Network show, “Ed, Edd, and Eddy”. I chose Eddy because is a natural leader who often gets his friends out of sticky situations, also he has the very apparent goal of being successful in life.

  • Why did you want to become an RA?
A: I chose to be an RA to make Lewis students’ life on campus fun, comfortable, and memorable. I had such an awesome experience with my RAs my freshman year and I wanted to give many other students the opportunity to have that same type of memory.

  • If you could be a cartoon character who would it be?
A: If I could be one cartoon character I would be Goofy. I would pick to be Goofy because he takes on life so well and has a great time while doing it!

  • Why did you want to become an RA?
A: I became a resident assistant because I wanted to help improve the college experience of others. My first year as a freshman, I felt very lonely. I was extremely shy and an introvert so I had difficulty making friends. I wasn’t enjoying my college experience and I thought about transferring out of Lewis. When I became an RA, my communication and leadership skills developed. I made new friends amongst fellow RA’s and was forced to come out of shell while mingling with my residents. Luckily, I was able to make connections with my residents and help them navigate through obstacles or connect them to the appropriate resources to help them succeed in life.

  • If you could be a cartoon character who would it be?
A: I would be Stewie Griffin from Family Guy. Stewie is an intelligent human being and is often underestimated by adults because he’s a child. I admire how clever Stewie is and although he’s a genius, he still has child-like tendencies. Additionally, like Stewie, who likes to pull pranks on Brian, I too love pranking close friends around me. I feel that Stewie and I are both very playful and have a childish sense of humor.

  • Why did you want to become an RA?
A: I wanted to become an RA at Lewis University because I wanted to make a difference in the lives of the resident students, with an emphasis on the freshman. When I was a freshman student at Sheil hall in the fall semester of 2014, I really enjoyed my campus experience and became a very involved and successful almost immediately once I moved onto campus. I was very proactive, energetic, and academically sound. I quickly learned the skills, habits, and discipline that was required to be a successful freshman student. I wanted to share my experience and knowledge with the freshman classes that would follow behind me, and I knew the best way to do that would be to become an RA. As an RA, I intend to portray myself as an example and a leadership figure for the freshman residents to look to for help and guidance.

  • If you could be a cartoon character who would it be?
A: I would definitely be Bugs Bunny because he has a great sense of humor and is very positive and upbeat, like me.

  • Why did you want to become an RA?
A: First half of freshmen year I struggled with being away from home the first time. Second semester my Peer Minister truly helped me to blossom and become a social more lively person. I want to gift at least one student by getting through the same struggles I had.

  • If you could be a cartoon character who would it be?
A: Does anime count? Well if it does, I would want to be Vegeta from DBZ. Because who wouldn't want to be able to fly, blast things, and yell uncontrollably loud without anyone of batting an eye?
