If you have ever wished to travel, Lewis University is here to help. The university’s study abroad department offers multiple programs for students to travel and study in a variety of places. Current programs include trips to Italy, Costa Rica, London, Greece, Las Vegas, Nogales and Washington D.C. Chris Swanson, the director of the study abroad program encourages all students to apply. The opportunity to study in a different city or country is once in a lifetime. “There are a lot of exciting things going on that provide learning opportunities for adult students to enjoy and benefit from travel study,” Swanson said. While away, students will have a chance to study a variety of topics, such as art history, theology, education, business strategy, comparative health systems, social justice, history and civil rights. Upcoming Deadlines for Study Abroad & Travel Study Programs

The deadline for the Italy Travel Study program, led by Dr. Dominic Colonna and Dr. Dennis Cremin, has been extended to Wednesday, February 15.  Students will travel to Rome, Florence, and Assisi for ten days during May, while studying either History or Theology.  The course may be counted toward major, minor, general education or elective
