Illinois Conference of Women Legislators Scholarship

The Illinois Conference of Women Legislators (COWL) is offering for the 2015-16 school year a one-year undergraduate scholarship to women who are 25 years of age or older.  The applicant must plan on attending an accredited, on-campus school in Illinois and take a minimum of six semester hours of coursework.  Classes that are taken online will not be eligible for assistance.  Applicants who show leadership through community service will be given special attention. COWL is offering the scholarship to provide women who may have had to postpone their education due to family, economic hardship or other reasons.  The scholarship can be used for tuition, books, and school fees up to $2,500. Great Awareness Monologues is offering a $1,000 cash scholarship for 2015.  The scholarship may be used for any documented expenses during 2015 while pursuing your degree. Any graduate or undergraduate student that has been accepted or attends a university may apply.
