I was born and raised on the West Side of Chicago. I enjoy cooking, volunteering, traveling and reading. I am the mother of 2 beautiful children; TJ & Joyre. I am an adult student who returned to college 19 years later only to excel to heights I could not have imagined. In 2007 when I was laid off my job of 12 years, I didn’t hesitate to pray and ask God for direction. My desire over the years had been to complete my college education, but when I continued to earn more and more money, the desire for obtaining my degree was suppressed way back in my mind.
