A Discussion About Leading Change: What Today’s Leaders Can Do To Be Successful
When: Monday, December 9th from 12-1pm.
Where: Oak Brook Campus.
** Lunch Is Provided**
Organizational change is all around us. Factors such as new technology, increased competition, a more globalized perspective and an increasingly diverse population have caused change to become a regular part of business practice – we might even consider it “continuous improvement.” Truthfully, without change, most organizations today will not survive. Despite this reality, 70% of all change initiatives fail. This fact should probably startle us, but it is in fact our wake-up call.
This event is sponsored by the Graduate Program in Organizational Leadership and the Office of Graduate and Adult Enrollment. Please join us to discuss the role that leaders play in successful change initiatives, how the skills and behaviors needed by today’s leaders can take us to the next level and why now is the time to master these skills.
