Lewis University, College of Business is Personal!Sep 17th, 2012 | By cherrymi | Category: Business Administration, CAMPUS NEWS, College of Business, Information Technology Management, Management
One of the hallmarks of a Lewis University degree is that it is personal. Indeed, our values and culture support the personalization of your education. This can be expressed in a number of ways, for instance, “You are treated as a person, not a number.” However, just hearing that statement does not explain how the personalization is expressed.
At the College of Business a faculty recently reported, “Today Sunday I met one of the students from class in the Library for two hours. He is having a little trouble with the material and I told him I would meet him on Sunday.”
Another faculty holds one hour tutoring sessions (from 5:00-6:00 p.m.) before each class which run from 6:00-10:00 p.m.
Finally, a faculty member teaching in our Information Technology Management program found that several students were struggling with the material therefore he organized a regular tutoring session outside of class.
In addition to our committed faculty (who are dedicated to your success) we also have tutoring services for Writing, Math, Economics, etc. In addition we have online tutoring support that is available 24/7!
At Lewis the idea of making education personal is more than a marketing statement or campaign, it is simply what we do.
