Lewis University is proud to announce that we provide our students with free access to SMARTHINKING. This web-based service provides live academic help from real people when you need it, how you need it, from people you can trust. You have access to help in the following subjects and skills:

  • Math (Available up to 24/7)
  • Writing
  • Intro to Human Communication
  • Chemistry
  • Statistics
  • Finance
  • Accounting
  • Biology
  • Microeconomics
  • Macroeconomics
  • Spanish
  • Physics
  • Computers and Technology

You can also choose the TYPE of help you want:

  • CONNECT WITH AN E-STRUCTOR NOW to work with the next available e-structor.
  • SUBMIT YOUR WRITING for any subject and have it reviewed by an e-structor and returned to you, usually within 24 hours.
  • SCHEDULE A PERSONAL SESSION to pre-schedule an online appointment.
  • SUBMIT A QUESTION and get a response, usually within 24 hours.
  • SEARCH THE SCHEDULE to find out when certain tutors are on-duty.

Best of all, everything you do is saved in your FILE CABINET so you can print it out, save it, and return to it.

 
To access SMARTHINKING, login to Blackboard, click on “Student,”  See Example… Students Tab .  Then click on “Smarthinking,” See Example… Smarthinking Tab .  A screen will pop up if you have pop-up blockers set on your browser… See Example…Pop-Up Blocker Follow the instructions on that page or over-ride the blocker by clicking on the “Click here to continue” of that screen.  You will be taken to the Smarthinking Home Page for Lewis University.  From the Smarthinking Home Page, you can select from various types of assistance.  See Example… Smarthinking Home Page
