Community Engagement Cooperative

At Lewis, many students and faculty serve with passion through community service and academic service-learning.  The offices of Student Leadership and Development, University Ministry in their Community Outreach efforts, Career Services, and the Office of Service Learning (OSL) cooperate to foster community engagement.  We have formed the Community Engagement Cooperative (CEC), in order to collaborate on service- related projects and events,. 

Sabrina Poulin (University Ministry), Sean Fagan (Student Leadership & Development), Kristi Kelly (Career Services), Beka Flanagan (VISTA, OSL), and Christie Billups (OSL) are members of the CEC. This cooperative meets monthly to discuss assessment, risk management, community sites, and related databases. The CEC works to reduce duplication of efforts, clarify respective overlap and distinctions among our offices, and foster enhanced communication.
