Tutoring and Skills Enhancement
Through individual assistance, group gatherings and seminars, the academic support services offered through LARC provide multiple support options for students with academic concerns.

LARC offers content-specific tutoring in approximately 100 courses by more than 30 competent and trained peer tutors who must meet specific selection criteria and who are often recommended by faculty. These one-on-one tutoring opportunities are available for students who need more individual and sustained attention in a particular subject area. Students can schedule tutoring sessions in advance or drop in during the day.

LARC provides multiple opportunities and resources for students to access assistance for improving their academic skills, including test-taking, critical thinking, reading, and study habits.
