Activities Calendar and Important Deadlines

Congratulations!
Each semester, Lewis University celebrates the accomplishments of our graduates through a variety of ceremonies, receptions and other events. What follows is a listing of important activities, deadlines and contact information. Watch your mail for invitations, announcements and further details about these and other special activities!

April 1 – Graduate Portrait and Class Ring Opportunity
Graduates who wish to purchase a portrait package to commemorate their graduation are invited to schedule an appointment with a professional photographer who will be on campus April 1 from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Portraits will be taken in the Big Red Room in the Lewis Memorial Student Union. To reserve a time for you and/or your family, please call (815) 836-5706. Representatives from Jostens will also be available for those interested in ordering a class ring or graduation announcements.

April 13 – Cap and Gown Orders Deadline
Be sure to order you cap and gown! A mailing with instructions will be sent in February. Students graduating with Masters Degrees and Certificates of Advanced Study will also receive hoods along with their caps and gowns. The order deadline is April 13, 2008. April 22 – College of Arts and Sciences Senior Honors Ceremony and Reception

April 25 – College of Business Senior Honors Reception

April 30 – College of Education Recognition Ceremony
Sancta Alberta Chapel, 7:00 p.m. A reception follows in the University Dining Room. For more information, please contact Carla Lebre at (815) 836-5316.

April 30 – Graduation Ceremony Tickets Available
Each graduate is entitled to six guest tickets for either the Graduate Degree Ceremony or the Undergraduate Degree Ceremony. Tickets will be available in the Registrar’s Office on the main campus in Romeoville beginning April 30. For more information, please contact the Registrar’s Office at (815) 836-5133.

May 17 – College of Nursing & Health Professions Senior Recognition Ceremony
