Activities Calendar and Important Deadlines

Congratulations!
Each semester, Lewis University celebrates the accomplishments of our graduates through a variety of ceremonies, receptions and other events. What follows is a listing of important activities, deadlines and contact information. Watch your mail for invitations, announcements and further details about these and other special activities!

November 2 - Cap and Gown Orders Deadline
Be sure to order you cap and gown! Students graduating with Masters Degrees and Certificates of Advanced Study will receive hoods along with their caps and gowns. November 4 - Graduate Portrait and Class Ring Opportunity
Graduates who wish to purchase a portrait package to commemorate their graduation are invited to schedule an appointment with a professional photographer who will be on campus November 4 from 1:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. Portraits will be taken in the Morton Boston Room in the Student Union. To reserve a time for you and/or your family, please call (815) 836-5706. Representatives from Jostens will also be available for those interested in ordering a class ring or graduation announcements.

November 17 - College of Arts and Sciences Senior Honors Ceremony and Reception

December 9 - College of Education Recognition Ceremony

December 9 - Graduation Ceremony Tickets Available
Undergraduate students are entitled to six guest tickets; graduate students are entitled to eight guest tickets. Tickets will be available in the Registrar’s Office on the main campus in Romeoville beginning December 9. For more information, please contact the Registrar’s Office at (815) 836-5133.

December 19 - College of Nursing & Health Professions Senior Recognition Ceremony
