Admission requirements: Bachelors degree from recognized institution, valid teaching or school service certificate, two years of successful teaching or school service experience, HB150, Survey of Exceptional Child, Illinois Certification Basic Skills Test, Entrance Writing Exam, Application, resume and two letters of recommendation.

Delivery

The classes will meet one evening per week during Spring and Fall semesters from 4:30 to 9:00 pm. In Summer Session the classes will meet one evening per week for three weeks, then two evenings a week for five weeks, then one evening a week for three weeks. The courses will be sequential and continuous and not repeated. A student who stops out for a semester or skips a class may need to go to another Lewis campus or cohort site to complete missed courses, at a higher tuition rate.
