Transfer Scholarships and Financial Aid
The transfer scholarships are designed to recognize and reward academic excellence. Scholarship amounts range between $3,500-5,500 per academic year and are based on cumulative grade point average. All applicants are considered for scholarships during the admission review process. Qualified students will be notified at the time of receiving their admission decision. Once awarded a scholarship, a student must be enrolled full-time in a traditional, undergraduate program. Members of Phi Theta Kappa are eligible to receive an additional scholarship award.

In addition to the transfer scholarships, every student is encouraged to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Any student who is offered admission to Lewis and files the FAFSA is considered for all available Lewis and government-based assistance. Approximately 85% of Lewis students receive some type of financial aid. Many grants have deadlines, so apply as soon as the previous year’s taxes are completed.

You may go to www.fafsa.ed.gov to apply online. Indicate Lewis University’s federal school code (001707) in the school code section to have your information sent to our Office of Financial Aid Services.
