Lewis University will accept up to 96 hours of credit from four-year universities, the final 32 hours of your degree must be completed at Lewis. In order to qualify you must have earned a minimum of 12 semester (18 quarter) hours of transferable credit with a minimum GPA of 2.0. Certain Lewis majors require higher GPAs. Contact the Office of Admission to start your credit evaluation at (815) 836-5250.

Financial Aid/Cost

Lewis University is committed to awarding transfer students from Saint Joseph's College a comprehensive financial aid package that reduces the "out of pocket" tuition cost to what the student is paying at Saint Joseph's College as part of his or her tuition guarantee. There will be a few exceptions to this as it relates to those who are athletes and students receiving some form of tuition remission. We will work with these students to develop an aid package that fits each individual financial situation.

Steps for applying for aid:

Add Lewis University to your 2017-18 FAFSA - Lewis University's School Code is 001707. Provide a copy of your 2016-17 Saint Joseph's College award letter (current year)
