As a transfer student to Lewis University, we recommend that you begin the application process a semester before you plan to enroll at Lewis for the best scholarship and financial aid consideration.

Transfer Application Timeline

Lewis University uses a rolling admission process, so applications are reviewed until the first week of classes. All students are encouraged to submit the Application for Admission as soon as they come to the decision to transfer colleges, allowing ample time to complete the enrollment process. 

While not permanent deadlines, applications should be submitted by June 1 for a fall semester start and November 1 for a spring semester entry. Nursing majors are encouraged to apply even earlier, April 1 for the fall term and October 15 for the spring.

  • $40 application fee

Decision Timeline


Upon receiving a completed application, the Office of Transfer Admission will notify you of your status within 2-3 weeks.
