Why did my MAP award get reduced when I reduced my credit hours?

MAP is paid per credit hour. At the start of each semester MAP is awarded based on the maximum of 15 credit hours - the initial MAP amount on your award letter is estimated. After the add/drop period of each semester MAP awards are revised to correlate with the actual hours registered for. It is the responsibility of the student to inform Financial Aid Services of any changes in their schedule.
