Entrance Counseling

ENTRANCE COUNSELING

Per Federal Regulations, every student who receives Federal Stafford student loans for the first time is required to complete Entrance Counseling before the University can disburse Stafford student loans. The purpose of completing Entrance Counseling is to inform the student of their rights and responsibilities when taking out student loans while in school.

• Please be sure to read all the information before beginning counseling questions
• After completing the counseling questions, be sure to enter student information and submit

EXIT COUNSELING

Much like Entrance Counseling, Federal Regulations require every student who has received a Federal Stafford student loan to complete an Exit Counseling session, before they graduate or once they have dropped below half-time status. The purpose of completing Exit Counseling is to provide valuable information to the student about how to manage student loans after college.
