A number of financial aid options are available for students in the form of grants and loans. Listed below are the grants available through federal and state resources.
A federal grant based on financial need as determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
An Illinois grant based on financial need. Both parents and students must be residents of Illinois and meet published deadlines. Students must also be attending an Illinois state-approved institution.
A one-time Illinois State grant for $500 awarded to freshmen students. The qualifying student has demonstrated through the FAFSA application that Expected Family Contribution is zero. Students must also be attending an Illinois state- approved institution.
This federal grant is awarded by the institution to students who demonstrate exceptional financial need as determined by the FAFSA.
A grant awarded by the University based on the financial needs of a full-time, undergraduate student. The grant is not available to students enrolled in accelerated, contract, cohort, and second bachelor's degree programs.
