This is a searchable scholarship site with funding available for undergraduate
and graduate students.
Benjamin A. Gilman Scholarship Program
A federal need-based scholarship of up to $5,000 for US undergraduate
students on study abroad programs of at last six weeks. You must be
receiving Pell Grant to qualify.
David L. Boren National Security Education Program (NSEP) Undergraduate
Scholarships and Graduate Fellowships
For undergraduate and graduate students wanting to study outside of
Western Europe, North America, and Oceania, with language training
fellowships in Arabic, Central Asian, Korean, Mandarin, Persian, and Russian.
Upon
return, NSEP recipients work for the US federal government for one
year after graduation. Dr. Serafima Gettys in Foreign Languages is the
NSEP
Advisor at Lewis University.
The Rotary Foundation Ambassadorial Scholarships
Provides funding of up to $23,000 for undergraduates and graduates
for overseas study. Applications must go through the local Rotary Club.
The Fulbright Program
For graduating senior, undergraduate, and graduate students who are
US citizens. Offers many different opportunities for study and research
abroad in all fields of study.
