Palmer College of Chiropractic is where chiropractic began. It was founded by the discoverer of chiropractic, D.D. Palmer, in 1897 in the Mississippi River town of Davenport, Iowa. Palmer is the leader and the largest chiropractic college in the profession and offers the highest-quality chiropractic education. As a natural healthcare system, chiropractic is ideal for students interested in helping people achieve optimal health without drugs or surgery. The Palmer curriculum is a graduate-level program that is typically completed in a little more than three calendar years and leads to a Doctor of Chiropractic degree. Palmer also offers financial incentives to students who meet the qualifications at Lewis University and Palmer College.
