Bachelor's to BSN Track
Bachelor of Science / Nursing
The Bachelor’s to BSN degree has been designed for
individuals who hold a Bachelor’s degree from an
accredited four-year college. Upon completion of this
track, the
graduate will be granted a Bachelor of Science in
Nursing degree and be eligible to sit for the national
examination for licensure (NCLEX) as a registered
professional nurse. Prerequisite completion will be
determined by the program advisor with each individual
evaluation of undergraduate transcripts.
Admission Requirements
- Application with application fee
- Cumulative GPA of 2.75 from all official
undergraduate coursework from an accredited
college or university
- Successful completion of the KAPLAN Admission Test (KAT)
- Interview / information session
Curriculum Requirements
The Bachelor of Science in Nursing requires the successful
completion of the following courses. Movement from
semester to semester requires successful completion of all
nursing courses from prior semesters.
Admission, progression, curriculum, and graduation
policies of the first professional degree program in nursing
are subject to change in order to comply with requirements
of the current Illinois Nursing Act, and the Rules for
Administration of Nursing and Advanced Practice Nursing
Act of 2004.
