Lunch and Learn: Cyber security in the Cloud

In this lecture, the threats and challenges associated with securing an organization’s IT infrastructure, particularly in the context of cloud service delivery models (SaaS, PaaS, and LaaS) was presented. Guidelines for securing cloud implementations at the network, host, and application levels, including issues regarding virtual server security were provided. Lingering challenges that are unique to cloud security, most notably, the lack of standard APIs for managing a cloud’s services were also discussed.
