May 2011, will be starting the full time juris doctor program at The John Marshall Law School in Chicago

December 2011, recipient of the Fr. Aquinas Award (fall 2011), will be coaching the speech team at Marian Catholic High School.

December 2011, is the new FMLA TBE/TPI Language Arts teacher at Aux Sable Middle School in Joliet, IL (part of the consolidated Plainfield School District).

May 2010, has begun her MFA in Creative Writing at the University of San Francisco.

May 2010, is teaching composition at Joliet Junior College.

December 2010, is the new Circulation Clerk for the White Oak Library District.

February 2008, won the Prick of the Spindle Poetry Open Contest, receiving first place for her poem "To a Youngwife," (first featured last fall in Jet Fuel Review), as well as an honorable mention for her poem "To the Boy in the Winter Coat." Visit the site at
