DEGREE PROGRAMS FOR: PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATE PROGRAMS

The College of Nursing and Health Professions Graduate Studies in Nursing offers three post-master’s certificate programs. A master’s degree in Nursing is required for enrollment in all certificate programs. An official transcript is acceptable to verify completion of the masters degree in Nursing.

The three certificate options available are (1) Nursing Administration, (2) Nursing Education, and (3) Adult Nurse Practitioner. It takes approximately one year to complete either the Nursing Administration or Nursing Education certificate programs, while the Adult Nurse Practitioner certificate program will take approximately 1.5 to 2.5 years to complete on a part-time basis, depending on coursework previously completed. Tuition for certificate program courses is listed in the current University Course Schedule.

Upon completion of the certificate program, the student will receive a certificate from the College of Nursing and Health Professions as well as have graduate credit hours posted to an official transcript.
