DEGREE PROGRAMS FOR: COMMUNICATION MAJORS OBJECTIVES
The Department of Communication prepares students to work in media and communication technology fields and enables them to develop their human interaction skills through majors in seven programs:
Broadcast Journalism
Communication Studies
Communication Technology
Multimedia Programs:
Multimedia Journalism
Multimedia Production
Print Journalism
Public Relations
Radio / Television Broadcasting
REQUIREMENTS
All majors within the Department of Communication are required to major in one of the following areas. Each student will be assigned an appropriate departmental advisor after consultation with the department chairperson.
Majors in various Department of Communication programs may wish to take a minor in Marketing for Communication Majors.
